Vanguard
Maison AsrarEDP
“Pineapple and blackcurrant over a smooth smoky-woody base — one of the closest Creed Aventus Absolu clones, and a stand-in for Aventus itself.”
Vanguard is the one that gets the Aventus Absolu profile right. It nails the darker, smokier read of the flanker — a dark-pineapple-and-blackcurrant opening lifted by grapefruit and pink pepper, a spiced cardamom-and-ginger heart, then a smooth base of moss, ambergris, cedar, and a whisper of leather. Crucially, it does it without the harsh synthetic slap most clones open with; it reads expensive from the first spray.
Blind, it holds up against the $400 Creed, and it doubles as a stand-in for regular Aventus too. At $40–$85 it's the one to buy first — the closest, cleanest, most versatile Absolu dupe on the market. See the full breakdown.
