Jean Lowe Fantasme
Maison Alhambra
“The clone that quietly won: nearly all of Imagination, in a bottle that plays the part, for the price of a movie night.”
Maison Alhambra came late to the Imagination clone race and lapped the field. Fantasme is as close to a consensus pick as this category has — the citrus-neroli-ginger opening lands within a hair of the original, and the black-tea-ambroxan drydown holds its shape instead of collapsing into soap. It even ships in an LV-style bottle with a magnetic cap, which is either charming or shameless depending on your mood.
Performance is the honest give: six-ish hours, strong out of the gate, then close to the skin after the first hour. But at $27–$30 — roughly a twelfth of the boutique price — you spray twice and stop thinking about it. If you're buying one Imagination clone and you want to stop reading here, buy this one.
