Created as a Harrods exclusive, Parfums de Marly's 2021 Haltane is a sweet aromatic oud: lavender opens over saffron and praline before settling on oud. Oud leads the accords, with aromatic, sweet and warm-spicy facets, and the praline rounds the wood into something smoother than a traditional oud. Frequently compared to Initio Oud for Greatness (2018). Worn mostly in fall and winter, with an evening lean.
